Safety

Control and privacy are core to DOS.

DOS uses location only for nearby discovery and presence features chosen by the user. Users can turn visibility off and manage permissions.

Location

Location access is requested to show nearby people and power discovery features. It should not be used for selling data or unrelated advertising.

Visibility

Users can hide from nearby discovery. Background location should only run when explicitly enabled by the user.

Notifications

Notifications should be relevant, limited, and connected to nearby, favorite, or safety-related events.

Blocking and reporting

DOS should support abuse handling, blocking, and account-level safety enforcement.
